  • Obviously you don't know Jon Kyl...he won't be "living on the dole." While he has earned a Civil Service pension for his service in Congress from 1987 to 2013 (assuming he stays in office until the next senator takes the oath in Jan '13) it won't be near his salary of $174,000 per year.

  • Well gee...can I get special handling?  I'm an AF Colonel, and I've been through a MUCH more thorough background check than any airline pilot (unless they're currently flying in the ANG or Reserve). Oh that's right...the TSA will simply say "Your ID could be fake..."
